In general, personnel matters are the responsibility of the employer, i.e. the statutory body of the organisation, but they are also subject to the rules of law, in particular the Civil Service Act or the Public Service Act. Compliance with these rules is supervised by the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic, to which complaints may be addressed. Whether there is a breach of the law must always be assessed according to the specific circumstances. Our Office receives reports of criminal activity or the commission of an administrative offence that affect the public interest and come to your attention in connection with your work. Complaints in individual disputes can generally be lodged with the superior authority of the institution against which the complaint is directed. For example, if you want to complain about the police's handling of a criminal case, you can contact the relevant prosecutor, quoting the file mark you have from the police. If you are dissatisfied with the procedure of the prosecutor of the district prosecutor's office, you can file a complaint with the superior office - i.e. the regional prosecutor's office. If you are complaining about the procedure of the building authority, you should contact the regional planning and building authority. You can also contact the Office of the Public Defender of Rights, which generally protects the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons and legal entities in proceedings before public authorities and other public bodies, as well as compliance with the basic principles of good public administration.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
